Shotgun Ammunition

  • Kent Cartridge Ultimate Fast Lead Diamond Shot Upland Ammunition 12 Gauge 2-3/4″ 1-1/4 oz #6 Shot Box of 25

Beginning in 1996 as a small group of sportsmen discussing the future of shotgunning, Kent Cartridge is now an international cartridge company. In 1997, Kent purchased the Activ Cartridge factory in Kearneysville, West Virginia. This gave Kent a home base in the heart of wild and wonderful West Virginia. In 1998 Kent expanded to Europe with the acquisition of the Gamebore Cartridge Company in Hull, England. The Kent-Gamebore Corporation was then formed and now carries on business throughout North America and around the world. The goal was simple, develop a non-toxic shotshell that would equal, and possibly exceed, the performance of high quality lead waterfowl loads. Constantly evolving and leading with proven performance and innovation, Kent products continue to set the benchmark.

Consistent patterning, balanced shot string, less recoil, superior penetration and retained energy. It all adds up to how your day ends. Upland and pheasant shooting is a challenging experience. These loads are designed to perform in just about any situation you or your dog can handle. Shooting experience in Europe, Britain and the United States were combined with Diamond Shot to satisfy the needs of serious bird hunters. Diamond Shot is a process that results in highly polished lead. Tested against standard lead shot it has resulted in better penetration and patterning.

  • Lightfield Home Defender Less Lethal Ammunition 12 Gauge 2-3/4″ 130 Grain Rubber Slug Box of 5

The Home Defender Rubber Slug load is intended for serious defensive use. The Rubber Slug is the most energetic of the Home Defender loads. Its rigid design will not deform on impact . The Rubber Slug will hold its velocity and energy over greater distances and has greater penetration potential. Though the Home Defender line of products is geared towards ‘room distance’ encounters, the Home Defender Rubber Slug load is effective at much greater distances.

Some level of injury should be expected and can range from serious injury or death to painful welts or bruising. Results can vary based on the weapon used, distance to target, clothing, body weight and part of the body hit.

  • Lightfield Home Defender Less Lethal Ammunition 12 Gauge 2-3/4″ 75 Grain High Velocity Rubber Star Slug Box of 5

The Home Defender HV-Star is intended for close range defensive use. This load gives shooters an effective option to a lead or copper projectile. This load can be used as a painful warning shot, but can also be lethal under some circumstances. This load will lose most of its effective energy beyond 15 yards.

The 1.25″ diameter Star has relatively high velocity but has very low mass. The large flexible design collapses on impact and imparts its available energy across a larger surface area than other projectile types.

Some level of injury should be expected and can range from serious injury or death to painful welts or bruising. Results can vary based on the weapon used, distance to target, clothing, body weight and part of the body hit.
